Welcome to my first blog! My intention for this blog is to share my love of puppetry with hopes that you will find inspiration to share with..
Here is a favorite finger story rhyme which can be quite effective when you share it with a glove finger puppet with needle felted pumpkins attached. I purchased a little fence to use as a story prop in telling the story. Enjoy!
Five little pumpkins sitting on the gate.
(Hold up 5 pumpkin fingers.)
The first one said, “Oh, my it’s getting late.”
(Hold up pumpkin thumb.)
The second one said, “There are witches in the air.”
(Hold up pumpkin index finger.)
The third one said, “But I don’t care.”
(Hold up pumpkin middle finger.)
The fourth one said, “Let’s run, run, run.”
(Hold up pumpkin ring finger.)
The fifth one said, “I’m ready for some fun.”
(Hold up pumpkin pinky.)
Ooooo! Went the wind, and out went the light.
(Spread out all 5 pumpkin fingers lifted off gate)
And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight!
(Roll pumpkins off the gate)
