May Day, Mother’s Day & Summer Class Update

Posted On:

Happy Mother’s Day!

In honor of the day here is a photo from The Little Boy Who Wants to Be Carried from Bronja Zahlingen’s book titled A Lifetime of Joy.

This book has a delightful collection of stories and puppet performance ideas and tips.

Here are a couple of other photos from this show which I performed for the kindergartens recently.

We celebrated May Day last week at the Sierra Waldorf School. We performed a marionette show of an African story.

Some 7th grade students accompanied myself and a couple of parents in putting on the performance. It was a lovely day!

Speaking of lovely, my yard has been bursting in bloom this last month  along with lots of tall weeds too from all the winter and spring rains.

Another Summer Puppetry Class

Please check out my calendar. I’ve just added another puppetry class that I will be teaching this summer. This one is offered at the Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks, Ca on June 26th, 27th, and 28th. I will be teaching the puppetry part of The Art of the Preschool. You can find more info here.

Also check back for the specific dates of when I will be performing  this summer at Pinecrest Lake for Tall Tales and Silly Songs on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am.  I share this venue with Bill Roberson and others and the dates haven’t been quite determined yet. Check back for updates and more info.
